10th Malaysian Symposium of Biomedical Science
Malaysian Symposium of Biomedical Science (MYSYMBIOS) is an annual nationallevel programme, which will gather all Biomedical Science students across Malaysia mainly to discuss and exchange knowledge related to the health care research and diagnostic fields by presenting their organizational & research skills simultaneously. It also provides a full platform for developing and strengthening a community of future biomedical scientists that will help to drive the advancement of Biomedical Science as a professional field in Malaysia.

The 10th Malaysian Symposium Biomedical Science is mainly focusing on objective to gather and unite scientists, researchers, intellectual figures and students at all levels on a stage to discuss, exchange ideas and experience, creating a holistic dialogue in related to Biomedical Science. In addition, this program has a very high potential in pioneering a premier platform to interdisciplinary cultures between researchers, practitioners, industry field as well as Health Science educators to present fresh, up-to-date and in line with current technology advancement and innovation of ideas.

Pipette
Being a vital instrument that is no longer unusual in Biomedical Science, pipette has become a fundamental apparatus that initiates the findings of many researches in the field of Biomedical Science. The pipette symbolizes the core platform that 10TH MYSYMBIOS provides by gathering all Biomedical Science professionals around the nation for intellectual discourse.

Culture plate
The culture plate epitomizes 10TH MYSYMBIOS as a medium for Biomedical Science students to showcase and challenge their skills on presenting their discoveries and alternative approaches in theory from their final year project at national level. The big and small circles represents the little and large steps taken in achieving this stage.

Magnifying Glass
Seen as two half magnifying glasses with a handle connecting to each other, denotes that 10TH MYSYMBIOS will not be functional without cooperation from all parties. Unlike microscope that helps us to see things beyond our naked eyes, magnifying glass helps us to see things clearer and more definite; in achieving goals and targets in Biomedical Science parallel to the objectives of this symposium.

Pipette and Culture Plate
Both apparatus forms the number 10 which is essential to be emphasized in this year’s symposium. The number 10 is a significant indicator of the continuous legacy of Malaysian Biomedical Science Symposium resulted from unceasing amalgamation and synergy of Biomedical Science legatees.

ECG
The electrocardiogram (ECG) figure portrays the sustainability of life in the biomedical field. Biomedical Science is very essential in developing medicine to contribute in the success of world health care mission. Without Biomedical Science, perpetuation of health care line could not be achieved. Biomedical Science knowledge is the life to Medicine.

Colour
The colour turquoise signifies the energy and wisdom borne by the participants of 10TH MYSYMBIOS in bringing changes and differences in the Biomedical Science field. The yellow colour shines through the optimism and positivity of USM as organiser to deliver out the best to this symposium. Both colours combine to create a colour of youth, who have 3 elements: enthusiasm, innovative and creative, that can drive this field forward to international level.
